WerData was formed as a technology spinoff from CAVU Corporation, one of the leading providers of Governmental Licensing and Enforcement software solutions.
In the summer of 2008, we interviewed a number of people who had smartphones and found out that none of them had access to corporate information thru their phones, except via email or limited corporate web sites. This lead to the concept of developing a heavy duty reporting tool that had the ability to bring the information they needed to their phones. We also added input forms capability to update information or capture events happening in the field (inspections, workflows, deliveries, etc.)
Since that time, other many other capabilities have been added to enhance security, offline use, data input, and other functions.
